Another thing I baked in spirit of Valentine’s Day was these heart-shaped brownies. All you need is bake a big brownie and using a heart-shaped cookies cutter to create the little heart brownies.
With this recipe, you can use any kind of shape-cutter you want!
75g of butter
75g of dark chocolate 100g of plain flour 1tsp of baking powder 150g of golden caster sugar 2 eggs |
Preheat over at 180oC
1. Melt butter and chocolate then put aside to cool down. 2. Put eggs and sugar in a bowl, whisk until pale and creamy. Stir in melted chocolate. 3. Sift in the flour and baking powder, and fold together. 4. Pour batter in baking tray 15cm square tray (if you want to create a thick brownie like I did), otherwise, you can use the 20cm square tray. Place in a preheated oven, bake for about 20-25 mins, or until insert skewer and comes out clean, means it’s done. Let the brownie cool and then just simply use the cookie cutter to cut out the desire shape. |
