This post was supposed to go up ages ago but I turned ill and was in bed for awhile. I was super annoyed that I got sick cause there are so many things I wanted to do. I ended up doing absolutely nothing for a long time and once I recovered, I had to go back to work so I couldn’t finish this blog post till today. July had been a good month, busy but good! I got a lot of work done and settling in my new job quite nicely. Because I constantly have to be out so taking a good care of my skin is a must, so I got quite a few beauty favourites among other things for the month of July.
I always love me some brown pencil and ever since I got this Brown Satin from Maybelline, I have been using it non-stop. I’ve actually been using this all through the month of June and July. The thing I love most about this pencil is that it comes with two ends, one is for filling in the brow to create the desire shape and the other end can be used to blend out to give a natural looking brow.
After a long and stressful day, it always nice to just a have a shower, a bath would be great but I don’t have the time. Anyway, I absolutely love this Sheer Cotton & Lemonade shower gel from Baths & Bodyworks that I got from US trip. It smells amazing and everytime I use it, I feel like my problems and stress just melt away.
Another product from Baths & Bodyworks also add a little relaxing feel to my night is this Sunshine candle, it’s literally like Sunshine. It reminds me so much of the feeling of being at the beach.
I got this Covergirl + Olay concealer from my US trip a well and have been using it ever since, I’m not big on concealer so I’m fine with anything. But what I love about this concealer is that it doesn’t just give coverage but also moisture to the eyes, which is perfect.
This is my absolutely favourite product of the entire month, I got this at Sephora from New York, but I have heard about this product a while back. SkinInc is actually a Singapore beauty brand. I decided to give it a try and I’ve fallen in love with it, I can notice the different in my skin, this has definitely rejuvenate and reduce discolouration on my skin significantly. I’ve always been applying lip balm, constantly! whenever my lips feel dry, I will just apply lip balm. The problem was that my lips constantly feel dry, but once I started using this at night as part of my skincare routine. My lips become much softer, and I find myself apply lip balm much lesser, there are day that I don’t even need to use lip balm.
This has been my go to foundation for the entire month of July, I find the it gives enough coverage yet smooth and doesn’t feel thick on my skin. Make Up For Ever is definitely one of my favourites foundation that I’ve tried.
