Hello there,
Recently, I’ve gotten an opportunity to visit one of the most famous restaurants in the world, The Fat Duck by Heston Blumenthal. Having watched Heston Blumenthal on various tv shows such as MasterChef Australia, I was over the moon to have the dining experience at his restaurant. It was very different, nothing like anything I have experienced before; the food might not have been the best out of all the Michelin starred restaurant I had tried so far, but the experience was unique like no other.
My favourite dishes were the poached salmon, which was cooked to perfection, soft and full of favour; and also the egg dessert was a piece of art, it made out of chocolate and cream yet looking like a real egg, it was the work of art. The very unique dishes I found were the Sound of the Sea, Moss Forest and Mad Hatter tea watch; they have very special taste to them, which probably resulted from the experience that comes with them.
After all the dishes, the dining experience ended with sweet shop goodies bag, included some chocolates and a letter that the queen of heart was found inside. I think the effort that put into all the dishes were extraordinary; I think the overall experience was very pleasant and worthwhile. This is definitely one of the experience that made my 2014.
