It was my last day to explore Istanbul, we decided to take tour bus around the city so we can explore the city as much as we can. We took the bus from the first stop from the Ahmet Square, moving along the street of the Old City before crossing the very first bridge that was built to connect the old and new city of Istanbul. The bus then ride along the streets to get to the golden bridge, crossing to the Asia side of the city and then back in Europe. Being Asian and all, it was very fascinated for me to visit the only city in the world that situated in both Asia and Europe continent. It was lunch time after crossing the bridge back into Europe, so we got off at Taksim Square to see the shopping street of Istanbul and then grabbed some quick lunch at this restaurant calls Hayvore, it was very much a local place, the food was cheap and delicious. We then walk around the shopping street for a little while, when I spotted this chocolate shop, I absolutely love chocolate so I will try them whenever I can, this was really good. And we off to the next stop, the Galata Tower, where I got to see the panoramic view of the entire city, the combination of water with the old and new architectures, it was just breathtaking.
We then off to the bus to go one more round of the bus tour of the entire city, it took quite awhile to get back to the Ahmet Square as the traffic was very bad at the peak hour. Once we arrived back at the square, it was already dinner time and the sun was setting, we went to the Seven Hills restaurant immediately to get the good view of the city at sunset. The view was magnificent at sunset, I could not described how magical the moment was. However, the food was not entirely great and quite pricey in my opinion, the service was not good, the staff were not friendly, unlike other restaurants that I have been to in Istanbul. And that marks the end of my trip in Turkey, and then I was off to Athens, Greece.
