First look of 2014

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE ! May this be the best year yet for all of us !

How has your 2014 been so far? As for me, the weather is not really on my side, it has been raining in London for the past days, the sun came out today, which was quite refreshing but weather forecast shown that it will start raining again tomorrow. This has a very negative effect on my mood, I’m just so lazy to do anything, which is not good at all, since it’s exams revision period for me. But there are positive things as well, after the end of holiday season means the comeback of TV shows, which I am super excited for. And on 1st of January, the show “Sherlock” made it comeback after 2 years, not sure if you have seen it but you definitely should. Soon, other shows (e.g. White Collar, Big Bang Theory) are making their screen comeback.

Anyways, this first look for 2014 is actually influenced by the rainy weather in London. The look overall is quite dark but I think it’s only fit for the weather here.
I have on the raining boots that I got from Korea ages ago but haven’t wear it much because well, I think it’s kind of loud. But since the outfit is dark, adding in a bit of colour wouldn’t hurt. I also give a second option to this look for when the weather is dry and not rainy. I simply replaced the boots with a thermal knee-high sock & flat. It’s so windy in London, and my hair tends to mess up because of it so I have on a beanie help keeping my hair in place. Also because of the wind that having an umbrella is no used, so I chose the trench coat to protect myself from the rain.
