I can’t believe it’s already February, I don’t even know what I did in January other than studying. However, I am looking forward to this weekend because I will be flying home to Vietnam for Tet (aka. Lunar New Year). I haven’t got a chance to be home for Tet for quite sometimes now. Unfortunately, I am starting to feel a little ill after my trip to Birmingham over the weekend, I might have caught a cold because of the dreadful cold and windy weather. This definitely reminds me of the time I was sick in Barcelona, when I could feel my body gave up on me and I have absolutely no energy left. I still did my best to go out and explore the city; but sadly I could not take a lot of quality pictures because of how tired I was. I’m still going to share everything I got to experienced in Barcelona, so here you go.
Barcelona started pretty bad, as I planned for almost 4 full days to explore the city, but plan obviously never turn out the way you want it to be. I was supposed to arrived at 12pm in Barcelona, the flight was delayed for 4 hours and there were much to eat and do at Seville airport, making time lasts so much longer. Anyway, I pretty much lost the entire day as I arrived at our hotel in Barcelona at 6pm, just in time to get dinner, see a bit of the city and go to sleep. I was pretty exhausted from spending most of my day at the airport and being ill was not helping either; so I decided to have dinner at restaurant near to our hotel. It’s a Japanese fusion tapas, there were about 12 dishes I think; but the three below were my favourites. After dinner, I went back to the hotel for some quality sleep; I started the next day by visiting the Barca stadium as it was the furthest from places that I wanted to visit. Afterwards, I went back to the centre to visit two of Gaudí’s most emblematic works, Casa Batlló and Casa Milà.
I hope you enjoy this post and have a great week ahead!
