Happy Weekend everyone!
I’m so excited about the fact that my exams are over and I am off for a weekend get away in Lake District. I hope that the weather will be nice there so I can loads of beautiful pictures. But anyhow, as the title stated, this is my monthly favourites post, I don’t think I did one for December 2014; so I kind of add some of the December favourites that I’m still using throughout of January. My favourites are not just things that I have been using a lot, but also TV shows and iPhone apps that I have recently discovered that I absolutely love. With no further explanation, let’s get on with it.
P.S: I will be on the train to Lake District by the time this article goes up; but I will also be updating about my trip on Instagram, so feel free to follow me there (@kellydang0615)
Make-up
I had a few additions to my make up collection and I have been finding myself using these almost everyday as part of my makeup routine.
Skincare
During my time travelled back in December, I needed hand-carried size skincare products so I picked out these sample ones from ETUDE HOUSE to bring along with me to the trip. And I cannot described how much it improved my skin condition, it tends quite dry because of the winter; but the combined use of these products make my skin so smooth and feel moisturised all the time. I would definitely recommend these products if you can get your hands on them. I especially love the Happy Essential foam, it’s probably the first face wash I used that I absolutely love, the foam alone already left my skin feeling so good and with the combine with the Collagen Moistfull set; make it even better.
Another skincare product is the Makeup remover from My Little Beauty that I received from the beauty box subscription.
Fragrance
I can never deny myself from watching a good tv shows and this was no exception , I stumbled across this show and was curious to what it’s all about. And needless to say, I found the show very interesting that why I’m sharing it here on my monthly favourites.
Application
Another favourite thing that I discovered in January was this app calls Headspace, it’s simply a meditation guidance app that give you a chance to free your head for 10 mins of the day and in a long-term allowing you to organise your thoughts better. I have only been using this for 10 days now and I can notice the difference, I started to realise that I let go of thoughts which are not necessary for me to go on with my day. If you’re interested in this app, you should definitely check it out, it will help free your mind and allowing to achieve thing that you want to do but restraint by unnecessary thoughts.
