DIY: Homemade latte

The weekend is over means starting of a new week, so we all need to fuel up to do the work set out for us. I like to have my coffee in the morning, it’s like a wake-up call for me and it helps me to stay awake the entire day. However, buying a cup of coffee in shop everyday can be quite costly to the overall monthly expenses. And as a student, I would like to save money on that, so I make my coffee at home by myself. I like my coffee with flavoured caramel and milk – caramel latte, so I got myself a 1 litre of Monin caramel syrup, which can last me for months.

This DIY is inspired by the Starbuck coffee bottle that you can get from supermarket. I like it because I can make it in advance and keep it in fridge, and also I like my coffee cold rather than hot so this is great 🙂 Most of the time I recycle glass bottle from drinks that I got from the shop. But here, I got these “milk” bottles from Amazon ( I love shopping from Amazon, they got almost everything I need), but these bottles are not heat proof so I make my coffee and store it in the fridge to cool down before pouring it in the bottle.
This DIY is simple, all you need is coffee powder (I use the espresso powder from Nestle), some hot water and milk, and of course the Monin flavour of your choice if you like to flavour your coffee.

P.S. I know I haven’t post outfits on my blog these days but I promise I will do so from tomorrow onwards, I have been staying home and I’m sticking to my new year resolution to only post pictures taken outdoor.
